A weight watcher’s best friend
Fruits are a weight watcher’s best friend. Regular intake of fruits makes you feel fresh and ready for exercise. As the large water and fiber content makes the stomach fill up quickly, it prevents you from binging on food. Having some fruits before a meal is a good idea to cut down on food. You can eat them as they are or combine them with other food. In whichever way fruits are just delicious. Yogurt and cottage cheese taste great with berries. You can eat them with oat meal or cornflakes or in your salad. Just be creative with them and you will be a healthier person.
Mango smoothie
A lovely Mango recipe: Peel and cube two ripe mangoes. Blend together. Add two cups of yogurt and blend again. Pour it in to a jar and serve with a sprinkling of white pepper powder. You can add a table spoon of honey if you want. Mangoes are an ideal summer food as they are high in many carotenoids, especially Beta-carotene. Beta-Carotene has a protective affect against the harmful rays of the sun, so your sun tolerance is increased if you eat mangoes. Mangoes contain Vitamin A, Vitamins C & E and nutrients like Selenium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, Folic acid (foliate), and zinc. They are very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. The B complex in mangoes acts as a great anti-stress agent.
